Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently a part with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor for the channel's shows 'Squawk on the Street' and 'Closing Bell'. An Ohio native, she was not much fascinated by the market and currencies while in college. When she was a student at New York University, she was a part-time intern at a start-up website named ForexTV.com. This is where she garnered her first experience with business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. The work experience was for four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. Then she came back to America and started working in New York at Bloomberg. Then, she became a TV anchor. In December 2013 she was employed by CNBC as reporter. After working as co-anchor on "Worldwide Exchange" as well as Power Lunch', she was employed by CNBC in the month of December 2013. She then got the job in the year following Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen is also co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. She is one of the most respected business journalists today. Since her arrival at CNBC, her primary attention has been on global consumer news.
