Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actress and singer. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen's talent for entertainment was found at a young age. She attended her audition in 1992 and was offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency before her 13th birthday. She later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Bell also began taking private acting classes around this time. Bell had a minor role that was not credited to her in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she won the part of Dorothy. Bell attended The Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell was a graduate in 2001, decided to leave her university studies to perform in the role of Becky in Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credit in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. The scene however cut, and Bell's only role is the final credits. Bell made an appearance on Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
